What Is Diabetes?

Diabetes is a disease which occur when blood glucose is too high. Blood glucose is also call blood sugar , main source of energy which we get from food we eat. Glucose which we get from food transfers to cells for energy by insulin, a hormone which is made by pancreas in body. Some times our body does not generate any or enough insulin and some times this insulin does not transfer to cells and stay in blood is the  main reason of diabetes. Having too much glucose in blood create many  health problems. Diabetes have no any cure yet, you have to manage diabetes by taking some steps to stay fit and healthy.

Diabetes Types
There are 03 main types of diabetes.

1- Type 1 Diabetes

In type diabetes the body does not make insulin. The immune system damage pancreas which make insulin in body. This type of diabetes mostly occur in childhood and young adults. In type 1 diabetes you have to take insulin daily to live alive.

2- Type 2 Diabetes

In type 2 diabetes, your body does not use insulin made by pancreas. This is the most common diabetes type. It can be occur in any age but mostly in middle and old age persons.

3- Gestational Diabetes

Gestational diabetes occur in  women mostly during pregnancy. This type of diabetes goes way after delivery. If a woman have gestational diabetes, there are more chances of type 2 diabetes in old age. Remember, some times diabetes during pregnancy is actually type 2 diabetes.
